Our Large Engines team currently have an opportunty for an experienced Trade Assistant; this role will be working alongside our highly qualified Tradespeople rebuilding engine components, your role is to perform basic maintenance tasks, such as cleaning of parts, and ensuring the workshop is organized and materials are readily available for efficient workflow all under the guidance of experienced technicians.

Location: South Guildford

Roster: Monday to Friday (10 hour shifts), 2 weeks of dayshift then 2 weeks of night shift

To be successful the following is required:

  • Proven experience of Trade Assistant work within a mechanical setting is essential
  • Forklift License is essential with Dogging highly desired or be willing to obtain these qualifications
  • Good attitude with a strong work ethic
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Previous use of safety and risk assessment tools such as Job Safety Analysis and Take 5's will guide you to success in this role
