About the Role

As Team Leader, you will head up a team of Educators, job sharing with the other Team Leader or Educational Leader and working collaboratively to support the learning and development of the children entrusted to your care. You will benefit from an age-appropriate environment where the RIE approach is embedded into daily practice.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Meet the Following Selection Criteria:

• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• Inclusive of others and brings a positive attitude every day
• Interest in and/or passion for embedding and modelling the RIE approach
• Ready to implement contemporary, evidence-informed pedagogy, and open to our innovative and unique way of programming and practice
• Enthusiastic, dedicated and reliable professional who is relentless in the pursuit of excellence for children and willing to grow with the service
• Ability and motivation to build positive relationships and meaningful connections with colleagues, families, children, and the wider community.

Essential Criteria:

• Valid Blue Card
• Available 3-5 days a week and able to be flexible if and when needed during service operational hours
• Strong proven Team/Room Leader/Lead Educator/Co-Leader experience across various age groups in Early Childhood
• ACECQA approved Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or working towards, depending on course progress
• Current relevant First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates as well as Child Protection training (or willing to obtain/refresh as required).
