About the role 

LightHorse Kitchen, Moorebank sports is a modern brasserie specialising in modern Australian cuisine, open for lunch and dinner focused on using high-quality produce, changing the menu with the seasons and keeping up with new food trends. We are looking for a Chef to join our professional kitchen staff of 10 and grow within the role! working directly with owners and head chef your duties and responsibilities will include:   

• Input toward all menu's
• input towards chef specials
• Train and supervise over 8 staff (for senior roll)
• Enforce and follow all HACCP Rules
• Ensuring all safe food practices are maintained
• Produce innovative and delicious food experiences.

Skills and experience 

• Prior experience as a Chef in a comparable brasserie/restaurant 
• Proven experience leading kitchen staff of 5 - 10 (if applying for senior roll)
• Passion for food!  
• Ability to motivate and work in a team.
• A can do attitude.
