Strategic Partnerships Manager

Based in our Orange office and reporting into the Regional Director, the Strategic Partnership Manager position is a key relationship building role with the key objective of driving advocacy for our regional businesses.
This role is a part-time permanent opportunity suitable to someone who is able to ideally work Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
This is a critical role that supports the Western region operations with a focus on stakeholder and member engagement, event management and will require a high level of flexibility in day-to-day tasks and focus as well as locations for the event days where you will be required to be onsite.
Main responsibilities include;
- Acquisition of new and existing members and shared members (where applicable).
- Drive engagement with allocated Business NSW members and ensure that membership value is being delivered to them.
- Achieve budgeted monthly, quarterly, and annual KPIs for sponsorship revenue.
- Nurture key strategic partnerships that provide mutual, long-term benefits to Business NSW, its members, and the broader business community.
- Identify and coordinate business networking event opportunities and work with the Regional Director to successfully deliver these events.
- Write and edit material for Business NSW publications including, but not limited to, social media, e-newsletter and other promotional material as required
About you
The main requirement for this role is prior experience in Relationship Management or Business Development, ideally working across a range of industries including government.
Other key requirements of the role:
- Excellent Communications and Marketing skills – This will be relevant to the day-to-day activities in your role.
- An understanding of the business, industry and government environment in the region is highly desirable.
- Prior Event Management experience would be looked at favourably.
- Driving Licence – This role will be travelling to visit prospective Members and Clients.
- Strong interpersonal, relationship building, negotiation, influencing skills and high-level verbal and written communication skills.
