Reporting to the MineStar Performance and Support Manager, The Standard Work Coordinator is accountable for developing Standard Documentation used to support work that needs to be replicated to a high standard for the business unit. This process is used throughout WesTrac by teams executing their specific scopes of work i.e. DPO's (Dealer Provided Options), Component & Machine rebuilds / New builds / Repairs.
This is a lead role in our Technology team supporting Caterpillar MineStar Technology installations. The role will be collaborating with other business stakeholders and SME's and is pivotal in maintaining alignment to the broader WesTrac business strategies for standard documentation, to enable a high level of compliance requirements and quality during execution of work. Through analysis and feedback the coordinator creates efficiency and effectiveness, with the aim to reduce rework at execution and increase reliability from design.
Location: Airport Precinct, WA
Roster: Monday - Friday, 8.5-hour days
To be successful the following is required:
- Trade related certification is desirable but not essential.
- Experience in a Service operational department.
- Previous experience with Technical Document Writing.
- Demonstrated ability to document business processes and write detailed functional instructional documentation.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills to enable effective resolution of issues within the workplace and/or customer disputes.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal).
- Intermediate computer literacy skills - MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously.
