We are seeking a passionate Speech Pathologist to join a leading NDIS service provider in Melbourne's Bayside, Peninsula, and Southern regions. The team is committed to providing high-impact, evidence-based interventions and promoting social inclusion for people with disabilities.

Role Overview: You will deliver person-centred therapy to children, young people, and adults with disabilities. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with families, carers, and other professionals to help participants achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evidence-based assessments and interventions tailored to participant needs.
  • Develop and monitor participant-centred goals in collaboration with families and other professionals.
  • Maintain strong relationships with local stakeholders (NDIS Planners, Schools, Health Agencies).
  • Manage your caseload and ensure accurate and timely documentation (Progress Notes, reports).
  • Ensure efficient use of participant funding and identify referrals to other services as needed.
  • Stay current with ongoing training and professional development.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology and registration with Speech Pathology Australia. Overseas qualifications will be accepted if assessed and recognised in Australia.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Commitment to evidence-based approaches and working with people with disabilities.
  • Understanding of the NDIS and participant self-determination.
  • Valid Victorian driver’s licence and own vehicle.
  • Computer literacy (Word, Excel, client databases).
  • Sponsorship available for the right candidate.

Additional Information:

  • Full-time or part-time, permanent position.
  • Requires a Working with Children Check, Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening, and COVID-19 vaccination evidence.
  • Salary based on the Health Professionals & Support Services Award, with progression opportunities.
