Awarded 1 Chefs Hat by the Good Food guide, this bustling 120 seat restaurant serves new edge cuisine, with an impressive menu created by our very talented head Chef. The restaurant focus is a marriage of traditional Mediterranean and modern Australian cuisine. A menu utilising different cooking techniques , utilising local produce and farms and only the freshest product available. Key responsibilities for chef positions include but are not limited to:
- Creativity and passion for the industry
- Ability or willingness to understand all financial requirements including weekly budgets, and food costings
- Generating and assist in menu ideas
- Assist in the management of the kitchen and staff in accordance to company standards
- Maintaining an effective communication channel between yourself and the head chef and restaurant manager
- Display leadership qualities that will inspire your team of kitchen staff
Successful applicants must have:
- Experience in high quality food
- A flexible approach to their work
- Trade qualifications
- Available to work a variety of shifts
- Function & high volume experience
- Strong leadership abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Residency or a Visa that allows employment in Australia
