About the Role

As a Sous Chef at Isola Di Capri, you will play a vital role in supporting our Head Chef in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen. Your passion for Italian cuisine, creativity, and attention to detail will help us deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to ensure seamless kitchen operations
  • Support the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
  • Oversee daily kitchen tasks and delegate responsibilities to junior staff
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Develop and maintain a good understanding of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or similar role
  • Passion for Italian cuisine and cooking techniques
  • Experience cooking fresh pasta
  • Ability to work well under pressure and produce high-quality food
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and motivate others
