About the Role
As a Sous Chef at Isola Di Capri, you will play a vital role in supporting our Head Chef in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen. Your passion for Italian cuisine, creativity, and attention to detail will help us deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to ensure seamless kitchen operations
- Support the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
- Oversee daily kitchen tasks and delegate responsibilities to junior staff
- Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Develop and maintain a good understanding of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or similar role
- Passion for Italian cuisine and cooking techniques
- Experience cooking fresh pasta
- Ability to work well under pressure and produce high-quality food
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and motivate others
