Cervantes Bar & Bistro is a family owned business located in the heart of the Turquoise Coast, only two hours from Perth, Western Australia. 

We are a positive, hard working team looking for an experienced senior sous chef to join our team who can match our passion for food and customer experience that can help carry our brand to the next level.

 

About the role

 

The successful applicant must have:

  • high standards of food handling and safety 
  • high standards of food preparation and presentation
  • Menu innovation and planning using seasonal produce
  • competency of ordering stock and responsibility for stock control and management 
  • use time management and forward planning to cater for regular tour group bookings in a restaurant setting 
  • training of junior staff
  • ensuring that strict hygiene standards are maintained at all times 
  • a knowledge of basic budgeting and costing is desirable 

This position will have full time hours and you are required to be available on weekends.
