An Opportunity exist for a highly motivated & proactive sous chef to join the team.

 

The Job:

 

As one of the institutional south west venues, we are in need of a professional Sous chef, to help our Head Chef elevate the culinary offering at Caves House Hotel, further developing our brand and becoming synonymous with great food in a casual dining setting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes in a fast paced and busy kitchen. If you have a passion for culinary arts, exceptional leadership skills, and a creative flair, we want to hear from you.

 

Responsibilities:

· Effectively lead and control service

· Ordering, stock control and stocktake

· Help with Menu development and execution

· Rostering

· Maintaining supplier relationships

· Training and mentoring a diverse team

· Maintaining exceptional cleanliness, food safety, hygiene, and OH&S standards

 

Skills and Qualifications:

· Fully qualified with experience in a high volume, fast paced venue

· Strong leadership and communication skills

· Work effectively under pressure

· Creative flair and a passion for culinary arts

· Knowledge of industry trends and a commitment to innovation

· Excellent time management and organizational abilities
