The Italian on Mends Street in South Perth (formally Automatic Italian Kitchen) is searching for an experienced Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. We trade 7 days per week for dinner and 3 lunches on Fridays and weekends. We are a well - established modern Italian restaurant focused on pasta and Roman style pizza in a modern casual environment.

ABOUT THE ROLE

An opportunity exists for a passionate, creative and driven chef to join us.

You must be enthusiastic and team oriented with a commitment for producing great quality food consistently.

You will have the ability to lead, support and motivate the team and you must ensure that a culture of operational excellence and exceptional food standards are evident across all aspects of your role.

Collaborating closely with the Head Chef, you will work together with your kitchen team to maintain the highest standards.

ABOUT YOU

Experience with Italian food essential.

You are a qualified chef with experience in this role.

Must be competent in the pasta section, producing high quality at a fast pace.

You are professional, efficient and creative and thrive on multitasking and attention to detail.

You are a strong communicator who takes responsibility and is focused on delivering consistent food standards.

Hours in line with renumeration $70,000 to $75,000 PA plus Superannuation.
