Keep Moving is a well-established locally owned and operated Northern Territory business, established in 2006. Keep Moving provides assistive technology equipment solutions to hospitals, primary health care clinics, aged care facilities, disability, and rehabilitation sectors, and individuals requiring assistive technology and support.
About You
As Keep Moving continue with our exciting period of growth, our team must grow to support this. As a result, we are looking for additional technicians.
We need you to bring your experience from similar service roles. You’re someone that loves a fast-paced environment, you’re able to adapt quickly, manage workloads and meet deadlines. Ideally, you will have some form of trade qualification. You will love mentoring and training others. You will be highly regarded if you have a mechanical, electrical or plumbing background.
You will get the opportunity to service a wide range of equipment such as beds, operating tables, hoists and lifters, mobility scooters, and complex wheelchairs.
You must be able to work in Australia with no restrictions and resident in the Darwin area. We will consider immigration sponsorship for the right person. Willingness to travel to remote communities a bonus.
Required Licenses and Compliance Checks
- A full driver’s license
- Current National Criminal records check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Working with Children check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
Duties:
- Service and repair all mobility equipment in the field and workshop.
- Submit readable and comprehensive job sheets.
- Prioritize and complete work so that Keep Moving meets its contractual agreements and delivers customer service excellence.
- Liaise with Customers, Service Coordinators, Technicians, and other internal departments to get the best outcomes for our customers
- Propose solutions to improve the customer experience and make Keep Moving Servicing more efficient and effective
- Maintain your Service vehicle in good condition, ensuring it is well stocked with parts and consumables.
- Other duties within the Service team as required.
Essential Criteria
- Ability to work independently and as part of team.
- Excellent communication skills
- A friendly, proactive, and professional personality with a desire to listen, understand and assist with client needs
- Current driver's license
