Our company Asiga is an internationally recognised developer of 3D printing software and hardware. We are seeking an experienced and energetic Senior Software Engineer to join our growing software team in Alexandria, Sydney.

The role involves contributing to the architecture and development of our cloud-native software products. The core requirements of the position include:

• Proficiency in Go and Python
• Experience building cloud-native web services (ideally using AWS), including:
          - Serverless architectures
          - Containers (Docker)
• Solid background in developing REST APIs
• Familiarity with relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases
• Hands-on experience with Docker

Additional beneficial skills include:

• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
• Frontend development skills, especially with React and TypeScript
• Proficiency in C/C++
• Strong documentation and writing skills

The successful candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related engineering field, and several years commercial experience in software development.

Our company is located 500m from Green Square railway station in Alexandria in a modern office and manufacturing facility. Applicants must be fluent in English and able to work in Australia. Visa sponsorship will be considered for talented overseas candidates.
