About the Role
This role is perfect for a Hotel Accountant looking to step up into a senior role. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing various finance-related duties, including month-end reports, payroll processing, and accounts receivable. This is a hands-on role with a great opportunity for growth and development in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and prepare monthly financial reports and perform month-end reconciliation.
  • Process payroll for hotel employees accurately and on time.
  • Oversee accounts receivable and ensure timely billing and payments.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting to support financial planning.
  • Perform variance analysis and provide insights to improve profitability.
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure compliance with internal financial policies.
  • Support the Finance Controller in financial audits and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.

About You:

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is essential.
  • Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA or CA) is highly regarded.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and strong Excel skills.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel accounting processes, including payroll and accounts receivable.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple financial functions in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to achieve financial goals.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
