The National market leader in Christmas and Year-Round Experiences requires an experienced, organised and enthusiastic Senior Account Manager to join their team.
Overview
Reporting to the Group Account Director, this is a unique and exciting opportunity. Working with high-end retail, commercial property & council clients, this role offers great professional rewards in a creative and dynamic environment with a passionate and supportive team.
The position is based in the Sydney Head Office and is full-time with an immediate start.
The successful applicant will be seeking a long-term position with an industry leader where they can use their background in Account Management in the creative / event / retail / entertainment /exhibition industry.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships with key decision makers.
- Maximising sales from existing clients via the development of new concepts.
- Proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities, from lead qualification to delivery.
- Maintaining accurate sales forecasts and pipeline of business to reach allocated sales and GP budget.
- Acting as the primary client interface for the lifespan of projects, with the ability to troubleshoot and respond in a timely manner.
- Scoping clients’ properties & gathering technical information, including site measurements and photos.
- Attending site installations/dismantles as required, including some overnight work.
- Travelling to meet clients within Australia and New Zealand.
- Preparing for and conducting client presentations, including the assembly of quotes/proposals.
- Developing sponsorship / brand integration opportunities for projects.
- Developing, maintaining and implementing a thorough understanding of the company’s strategies and objectives.
- Networking with potential and current clients via the attendance of industry events.
Candidate requirements:
- Exceptional communicator (both written and verbal) with very high presentation and sales skills.
- Exceptional negotiator with the ability to apply learned sales strategies to effectively close deals.
- Experience in managing complex major projects.
- Experience in managing multiple client projects simultaneously, with a high attention to detail and excellent time management.
- Highly organised with strong planning & administration skills.
- Strong business and commercial/strategic acumen.
- Creative flair and design awareness.
- High level of IT literacy with the ability to effectively use/learn multiple systems including Microsoft Office, Sage Evolution, Smartsheet, Trello, Hubspot and LinkedIn.
- Operate autonomously when required but also function as a team player, sharing information and accepting guidance and direction.
- Ability to work collaboratively and supportively with internal teams in order to achieve the best result for clients.
- Full driver’s licence required.
