About the Role:

Our client is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Front Counter Customer Service / Sales Person to join their team in Cairns! If you’re a team player with solid customer service skills, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in-store, respond to queries, and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Maintain knowledge of product offerings, discuss available options, and provide accurate quotes.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system with efficiency and accuracy.
• Receive, unload, and organise incoming inventory appropriately.
• Verify, process, and fulfill customer orders and invoices.
• Keep sales areas clean, organised, and well-stocked.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in sales or a customer service role.
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
• Proficiency in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with inventory management.
• Manual Australian Driver’s Licence.
• Ability to handle heavy products.
• Strong organisational skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude.
• Capability to perform under pressure and resolve issues promptly.
• Familiarity with market dynamics and customer needs.
