MARKETING SPECIALIST

 

Purpose of the position

The Marketing Specialist will be required to develop marketing concepts and undertake market analysis, public

relations, branding and positioning, business reputation and communications with stakeholders.

Core duties/responsibilities:

 Plan, implement, manage and report on client email and social media marketing best practices and

innovative online campaign strategies.

 Help build and improve internal Email and Social Media Marketing processes

 Continually monitor trends in social media technologies, appropriately apply that knowledge to increasing

the use of social media

 Prepare reports for detailing performance and trends as well as impact of marketing strategies on

customer behavior and profitability.

 Making telephonic calls to prospective clients/inquires and advising them about their options.

 Work on growth planning ideas, opportunities and new markets.

 Coordinate marketing and thought leadership activities

 Gain and maintain knowledge of assigned industry services, their application and ways to promote them

to clients and prospects.

 Support the director with special projects/Ideas.

 Collaborate with other office staff to communicate industry goals and ways to work together to achieve

these goals

 Assist with development of external/internal communications.

 Work with industry leaders to create and distribute thought leadership material to clients and prospects

and initiate ways to leverage them in other publications

 Maintain and disseminate as required industry statistics, client lists, prospect lists, success stories,

testimonials and online content for marketing purposes.

 Consistently demonstrate required skills to include sales methodology, Value Proposition, contracts and

pricing, prospecting, pre-call planning, product knowledge telephonic skills.

 Maintain events and meetings on the Outlook calendar.

 Network and build relationships within territory in order to further business relationship and initiate lead

generation.

 Maintain professional image and attitude, acting consistently as a representative of the firm.

 Strong organization skills

 Demonstrate regular, predictable, and timely attendance.

 Recommend improvements to work methods or procedures/administrative problems.

 Earn confidence, trust, and respect from professionals and administrative staff as well as outside service

providers.

 Enhance technical skills and continue to develop other areas of expertise.

 Demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness and creativity.

 Manage all marketing activities related to the Office related to proposals, events, PR and other activities.

 Additionally, provide support for any efforts related to the business development outreach.

 Managing of all office related events, including exhibits and sponsorships. Attending designated locally

sponsored events including coordination of event advertisement and collateral.

 Manage calendar of local events.

 Managing and implementing research capabilities when needed.

 Work on revenue growth planning ideas, opportunities and new markets

 Develop, write, prepare, and edit industry marketing collateral

 Maintain accurate client data and files in the system.

 

Specialist knowledge and skills

 Ability to manage time, set priorities, plan and organise one’s own work

 Good computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

 Bilingual English and native Hindi speaker

 Clear written and verbal communication skills

 Accuracy and efficiency in duties performed

 

Qualification and experience

Bachelor degree or higher qualification. At least five years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal

qualification.

Conditions of employment

Total remuneration package is $85000 to $95000 per annum. Mandatory superannuation contribution of 11.5% is calculated on a top of the base rate.
