Port Lincoln Betta Home Living is a locally owned and operated franchise that has been operating for over 40 years, supplying a huge range range of brands and products primarily to the local Eyre Peninsula market, but also online to all of Australia.

We focus on our team culture to provide personal development, support and flexibility to our staff so that we can create an environment providing exceptional customer experience.

We carry an extensive range of products - Audio Visual, Cooking, Laundry, Refrigeration, Computing, Telecommunications, household appliances, heating and air conditioning.

We have the premium brands -  Apple Asko ASUS Beko Bosch Chiq Dyson Electrolux Falmec Fisher & Paykel Haier Hewlett Packard Hisense LG Liebherr Miele Samsung Schweigen Smeg TCL Telstra Westinghouse and Vintec to name a few.

The owners and managers work onsite , hand in hand with the sales team providing support as required. In addition there are significant opportunities for promotion and personal advancement.

About the role

 

The role is primarily but not limited to the following tasks :

Customer facing sales and support where the objective is find the correct solution to their requirements.

Creating customer quotes and following through to completion

Stock control and movement within the premises

Customer installation assistance on occasions

Presentation and marketing of products and services in store

Online marketing and research.

Continuous sales and product training

Contributing to the team by assisting others and recognizing opportunities for our business and yourself

Skills development - marketing, stock, cash and debtor management for the right candidate

A friendly flexible team environment

Basic hours are 9.00 am to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday and a half day on Saturday, with one weekend a month rostered off.  Negotiable.

Skills and experience

The successful  applicant will need to demonstrate the following qualities:

A genuine desire to provide outstanding customer service, in a team environment. 

A strong work ethic, good organizational skills and the ability to complete tasks without supervision.

An in depth understanding of  OR  or a strong desire to learn about a comprehensive range of electrical and electronic products and related services
