About the role

Metro West Wyalong - Kebab & Burger is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Retail Manager, Kitchen Hand, Customer Service Representative, and Juniors. This is a casual/permanent position located in West Wyalong NSW 2671, where you will be responsible for a diverse range of duties within our petrol station and hot food operations. Join a team with opportunities for various role of sponsorship.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with food preparation and kitchen duties to ensure efficient service
• Providing exceptional customer service to customers and cash handling
• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail store, including inventory management, merchandising, and sales
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
• Adhering to all health, safety, and hygiene standards
• Collaborating with the wider team to achieve overall business objectives

What we're looking for

• Food safety or Hospitality experience is preferable
• Effective communication skills with a proficiency in English
• Be the face of Metro for our customers
• Friendly, energetic and approachable with a natural ability for great customer
• service
• Confidence to implement in-store promotions
• Ability to work shift work including weekends
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
