Le Foyer is looking for a Restaurant Managers to join our opening team.
Le Foyer is the new Restaurant of The Woodhouse Bar and Grill Bendigo. The Woodhouse has been Bendigo’s only dedicated woodfired steakhouse operating since 2012.
Le Foyer brassiere, opening in late June will consist of 80 seats and will be aiming to bring a new level of sophisticated dining to the Bendigo culinary scene. Blending old-world European elegance with a contemporary edge to deliver a refined and immersive dining experience.
Bendigo and the region have been recognized by the UNESCO Creative Cities Network as a City of Gastronomy. The designation recognizes our region's diverse food culture and our community's commitment to local, sustainable, delicious, and creative produce in Bendigo in our City of Gastronomy.
Are you a passionate hospitality professional looking for a leadership role in a charming French brasserie? We’re searching for experienced Restaurant Managers to lead our team in Regional Victoria, delivering exceptional dining experiences with warm hospitality and superior knowledge.
THE ROLE
As our Restaurant Manager, you will oversee daily operations, lead and inspire our team and ensure outstanding service. You will Be working alongside Michael Van Haandel, Owner and assist him in the running of two-level brassiere.
Your role will involve:
- Managing front of house operations with efficiency and attention to detail.
- Leading, training and motivating staff to deliver top tier hospitality.
- Working closely with the kitchen and bar team to create seamless service
- Managing reservations, customer relationships and special events
- Overseeing stock control, supplier relations and cost management
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety and licensing regulations
ABOUT YOU
We’re looking for someone with:
- Previous Restaurant Management experience, preferably in fine dining or a French inspired setting.
- A strong understanding of French cuisine and wine
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- A passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Knowledge of financial management, rostering and supplier coordination
