Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Residential Maintenance Electrician to join our team in Sydney, NSW. As a Licensed Electrician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance services to residential and commercial clients across the Sydney metropolitan area. This role requires a strong focus on customer interaction and salesmanship. You will engage directly with clients, identifying opportunities for additional services and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems in residential, and commercial settings in compliance with NSW regulations
• Install and upgrade electrical systems and components as needed
• Communicate effectively with clients, explaining issues, solutions, and the work undertaken.
• Prepare accurate job estimates and proposals for clients and identify sales opportunities to promote additional services or upgrades
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols for a secure work environment.

Requirements

• Valid NSW electrical license 
• Valid NSW driver’s license.
• Construction Induction Safety (White Card).
• Ability to fault-find, problem-solve, and efficiently install and maintain skills across the residential sector.
• Takes pride in their customer service, communication skills, and quality of workmanship.

This role would be suited for some who has:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician, preferably in a customer-facing role 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated sales ability and a passion for identifying and pursuing opportunities
• Positive attitude, proactive approach, and strong problem-solving skills
