Allied Recruitment is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Recruitment Administration Assistant to join our team in Welshpool.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting Visitors: Welcome both candidates with bookings and walk-ins with a friendly demeanor, creating a positive first impression.
- Managing Inbound Calls: Handle general queries, transfer calls, and accurately record messages for unavailable staff.
- Candidate Database Management: Ensure accurate entry, organization, and processing of candidate information in the database, including updating availabilities.
- Conduct Background and Work Rights Verification Checks: Support Recruitment Consultants by ensuring candidates meet all necessary compliance requirements.
- Carry Out Candidate Screening Calls: Assist Recruitment Consultants with initial phone screenings to evaluate candidate suitability through structured phone screens.
- Mail and Parcel Handling: Receive, sort, and distribute mail and parcels promptly and efficiently.
- Documentation Management: Handle printing, photocopying, and scanning of various documents. File and correctly dispose of sensitive documentation.
- Office Operations & Inventory: Oversee office inventory, process supply orders, and coordinate with external service providers to ensure a well-stocked, organized, and well-maintained workplace.
- Safety and Hygiene Standards: Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.

To be successful in this role the ideal candidate must have:
- A current Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle.
- The ability to multitask and learn new processes.
- Excellent customer service skills and phone manner.
- Strong knowledge of computer-based operations (MS Suite – Outlook, Word & Excel).
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach.
- An excellent attendance record.

This is a long-term position with the exciting opportunity to grow into a role within the Recruitment Team, based on performance and company requirements. An extensive training period is provided to help you succeed in both administrative and recruitment functions. Therefore, applicants must have the right to work for a minimum of 2 years or longer.
