About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to assist in cost estimation, budget management, and contract administration for roofing and cladding projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing project costs, preparing tenders, managing procurement processes, and liaising with key stakeholders to ensure project efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates, feasibility studies, and budget forecasts for roofing and cladding projects
• Develop Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and ensure accurate material take-offs
• Negotiate contracts and procurement agreements with suppliers and subcontractors
• Monitor financial progress, identify cost variances, and optimise cost efficiencies
• Ensure compliance with Australian construction codes, standards, and contracts
• Provide risk analysis and manage contractual claims and variations

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in quantity surveying, preferably within roofing, metal cladding, or commercial construction
• Proficiency in cost estimation software, MS Excel, and contract management systems
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team
• Eligibility for employer-sponsored 482 Visa
