About the opportunity
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant to join our claims department. Your role will be to ensure that all claims are processed accurately and comply with industry standards and regulations. You will identify areas for process improvement, provide training and support to claims processors, conduct regular audits and monitoring, and help maintain high customer satisfaction by ensuring fair and prompt handling of claims.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Audit calls and files made and actioned by the Claims Consultants
- Coach the teams to support the provision of a high standard of customer service and improve consultant knowledge, processes and the overall customer service
- Approve payments, receipt recoveries and salvage costs
- Maintain and support relationships with customers, including internal and external stakeholders
- Provide support to other areas of the business during busy periods
- Work cooperatively with colleagues in a spirit of support and respect of others
- Assist fellow team members to achieve a common goal
- Actively participate in meetings to improve workloads
- Share your knowledge and skills with colleagues to build a learning environment
- Develop skills to be more efficient in your role
Skills and Knowledge
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A minimum of 2 years previous claims management experience
- Strong organisational skills and a strong customer focus thinking
- Able to provide a level of flexibility during busy periods and adhering to business process, key performance indicators and timelines.
- Keen eye to detail and process documentation.
- Ability to attend to email enquiries in a timely manner
- Ability to communicate with claim stakeholders (CRM)
- General knowledge of data transfer
