Key Responsibilities:
- Perform logbook servicing, major repairs, and replacements (engine and gearbox).
- Service and maintain a wide range of petrol and diesel vehicles.
- Accurately update and maintain servicing logbooks.
- Diagnose and repair ignition and fuel systems.
- Provide detailed quotes and time estimates for repairs.
- Repair, assemble, and overhaul engines and major components.
- Train, guide, and mentor apprentices to help them reach their potential.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Trade qualifications as an Automotive Mechanic or Auto Electrician.
- Bonus qualifications: Air-conditioning license or Roadworthy Certificate (RWC).
- Strong diagnostic abilities and technical knowledge.
- A commitment to high standards of workmanship and customer service.
