The role

We are seeking a Qualified and Experienced Public Accountant to join our team on a full-time basis in our Port Lincoln Office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform data entry and prepare Business Activity Statements & Instalment Activity Statements
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Complete tax returns and assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Collaborate with other team members to provide excellent service to our clients.

Qualifications:

• 3 years+ area of Public Accounting, including preparation of tax returns and financial statements
• Completed Tertiary studies in Finance or Accounting or currently studying
• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks).
• Proven ability in using Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Good understanding of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
• A collaborative approach to teamwork and office procedures
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional time management and organisational skills
• Willingness to learn
• Fluent English both written & verbal
