Resolve Environmental are looking for a highly motivated Principal Environmental Consultant - Contaminated Land ready to take on a strategic leadership role and join our Brisbane office. This is an opportunity to be a part of our growing foundational team in Brisbane, playing a key role in cultivating and nurturing company culture, expanding our client base, and delivering industry leading environmental outcomes for our clients. 

Founded in 2017, Resolve Environmental is an Australian-owned consultancy with a team of over 40 staff across Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland. We are an innovative environmental consultancy dedicated to creating an environment that fosters growth and development for our team.

About the Position

This position involves a broad range of duties and responsibilities including:

  • Lead and grow our Queensland team, fostering a strong technical and client-focused culture.
  • Drive business development and client engagement, expanding our footprint within the petroleum, mining, development, infrastructure, and government sectors.
  • Provide strategic environmental advice, navigating complex regulatory frameworks.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing team, supporting junior and mid-level consultants.
  • Technical review and sign-off of fee proposals and reports.
  • Review of reporting deliverables to ensure technical accuracy and client centric approach.
  • Assist in the design and implementation environmental assessments and remediation programs to ensure efficient and accurate data collection.

About You

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in the consulting industry, with a successful track record in team management and driving business growth.
  • Extensive and comprehensive technical knowledge of national and QLD environmental regulatory frameworks and guidance.
  • Strong business development skills, including client relationship management and project acquisition.
  • Minimum of 15+ years of experience in the consultancy industry, with a minimum of 3 years recent experience based in QLD.
  • A QLD accredited Site Auditor (desirable).
