We are looking for a highly proficient Pre-Press and Digital Machine Operator.  You will need printing industry experience and experience with Adobe Design Suite will be advantageous.

About the Role:

The main focus of the job is to run our automated resining machine.

You will also be providing assistance and support to the Production Manager – planning, scheduling and assisting with effective production and dispatch of orders.  This includes the set up and running of digital printers, digital die-cutting machines, and guillotine.

You should be energetic, enjoy challenges, willing to learn and be able to cope with the pressures of deadlines. You must be a great team player, enjoy a laugh and be determined to help customers. You must be willing to multi task in all aspects of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Set up designated machine at the beginning of the shift to ensure proper working order
• Collating and preparing all printed orders to be put onto the machine
• Inspect all orders to ensure quality and quantity is correct
• Monitor machines during procedure to ensure optimum production
• Complete all necessary paperwork and maintain production records
• Clean machine at the end of every shift
• Some manual handling (up to 20kg)
• Other duties, job tasks and responsibilities as is required

• CAD Drawing Programs (or similar)
• Adobe Design Suite knowledge
• High attention to detail
• Patience
• Time management – able to work to strict deadlines
• The ability to multi-task
• Mechanical aptitude – use of basic hand tools
• Ability to prioritize tasks, show initiative and be able to work unsupervised
• Pride in your work and workplace
• You must be keen to learn multiple new skillsets
• You must be willing to assist in other production areas when required – laminating, cutting, warehousing
