We are seeking experienced chef specialising in Asian cuisine to join Saigon Express in Hobart, Howrah, Kingston and Margate sites. The role requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in Asian cuisine.

Ideally for Senior CDP or Sous Chef position

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of Asian dishes, including wok specialties and Vietnamese cuisine.

• Manage cooking efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency.

• Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.

• Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and specials.

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Asian cuisine.

• Strong knowledge and experience in cooking wok and Vietnamese/Asian dishes.

• Commercial cookery certifications or relevant qualifications.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure effectively.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
