About the role

We are hiring a bilingual (English & Mandarin) Payroll & HR Administrator for our head office.

Skills and experience

Highly organised 

Process weekly payroll via MYOB in an accurate and timely manner

Address payroll queries via phone and email

Preparing payroll reporting to meet internal and statutory obligations

Issue pay slips and employment certificates

Process workers compensation and superannuation payments (including NSW, VIC and QLD)

HR records maintenance

Respond to issues and concerns from outlet managers and employees

Provide guidance on human resources and employee relations matters

Understand commercial and legal risks addressing HR related issues

Oversee recruitment process including job description development

Manage employee employment contracts

Understands employee sponsorship and application process

Verification of visa entitlement using VEVO

Criteria:

Fluent in English and Mandarin

Payroll experience is necessary

Understanding of Australian payroll tax 

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Experience in HR management in the hospitality environment

Solid knowledge of the Fair Work Act 2009 and Industry Awards is essential

Understanding of immigration law

Stable employment record

Tertiary Education
