The Opportunity

We are seeking a successful candidate to fulfil a Team Leader role in our Painting Division. The role is ideally suited for applicants with painting and decorating experience in a commercial construction industry. This full-time, permanent role based in the Perth Metro area is open to skilled professionals who, like us, have a proven record of working to an extremely high standard.

 Who are we looking for?

Essential:

• Trade Certified Painter (must have completed an apprenticeship)
• Proven experience as a leading hand or 2IC role
• Ability to manage projects and members of the team
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Able to provide solutions to problems or work with the Painting Manager in achieving a positive outcome when problems arise
• A keen eye for detail to ensure quality control
• Manual driver’s license 
• White card
• Current Police Clearance

In addition, the successful candidate will

• Be reporting directly to the Painting Manager
• Motivate & work with your team across numerous sites
• Able to read/understand project drawings (floor plans/elevations)
• Maintain a safe work environment, comply with OSH policies and company procedures & induction manuals

Desirable:

• EWP and/or Working at Heights ticket
• First Aid
• Experience in airless spraying
