JV Decor is a painting company located in Newcastle, we are small business wrapped up in big opportunities that continues to grow.      

Due to expansion we are looking for an experienced Managerial role to join the team.

Works carried out are based on new construction builds and residential, we also get involved in construction projects which involve townhouses, villas, commercial and the like.  

The individual must have an eye for detail, quality and consistency through out the job from start to finish.

Chinese speaking will be highly regarded. 

Salary negotiable depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities :

• Plan and manage the overall painting process in construction projects 
• Develop projects schedules and budget management
• Assign and supervise workers (painter and teams) on-site 
• Collaborate with contractors and clients to ensure project quality
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and manage project risks
• Procure painting materials and optimize the supply chain
• Make paint orders according to the job specification via our supply chains  
• Maintain current and find new business opportunities within the construction industry
• Able to maintain a fast pace schedule

Qualifications

• Follow all WHS requirements 
• Must be punctual and proactive
• Able to manage and supervise a team on site and implement quality control 
• Team leadership and onsite supervision experience required
• Must have completed or have an induction white card
• Proven experience in construction project management or related roles 
• Full unrestricted drivers license
• Own transport such as a ute/van/suv
• Minimum of 3 years working experience in construction or painting industry 
• 482 Visa sponsorship available (Applicants without work rights in Australia may apply)
