About the role
ARRCS Katherine Aged Care facilities which include Rocky Ridge Nursing Home and Katherine Hostel are actively sourcing an Operations Manager to join their team on a permanent basis and attracts a salary of $90,000 gross PA plus salary packaging options.
Supporting the operations across both facilities, this role will see you lead the ‘non-clinical’ operations requirements within our Aged Care Homes. This will include our hospitality services including laundry, kitchen and cleaning. Our Maintenance services including grounds, general repairs and larger contract projects. In addition, you will support the management of Administration and Rostering services.
As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate prior experience in an operational / workforce role ideally within the Hospitality industry. You will have a strong background in staff management and be up to date with working from multicultural backgrounds. You will be a leader who also enjoys mentoring and supporting others. In addition, you will be a self-starter who can lead a team and support during busy times and problem solve.

Skills & experience
To be considered for this role, we will be looking at the following experience and qualifications:
- Demonstrate previous experience working in a management / operations role supporting multiple departments - Ideally to include kitchen, cleaning and maintenance.
- Experience in managing a diverse team.
- Knowledge of culturally sensitive practice when working with Aboriginal and Torre Strait islander people and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
- Prior use of Microsoft Office suite and other client reporting systems (Kronos, Procura).
- Ability to respond and adapt to competing priorities whilst working unsupervised.
- Empathy with Aged People, their families, and Personal Carers.
