Position Overview:

We seek a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team. In this role, you will work in an environment rich with resources, providing high-quality education and care to children aged 0–6. Your contributions will play a key role in shaping young minds and fostering a love of learning in a place where your expertise as an educator is genuinely appreciated. Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Implementation: Plan, implement, and evaluate developmentally appropriate programs for children, following the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including observations, learning stories, and assessments of children's development and progress.
  • Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with children and families, providing regular communication and opportunities for involvement in the program.
  • Collaborative Environment: Work closely with colleagues to create a safe, stimulating, and engaging learning environment that promotes positive outcomes for all children.
  • Professional Development: Support your ongoing professional development and colleagues by attending training, networking opportunities, and sharing knowledge and expertise.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including the National Quality Standard (NQS) and the Early Childhood Australia Code of Ethics.

About You:

  • Qualifications: Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
  • Knowledge: Sound understanding of the EYLF and NQS.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children and families.
  • Commitment: A solid commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Certifications: Valid Working with Children Check, First Aid/CPR certificate, and Child Protection training.
  • Presentation: Excellent personal presentation.
