About the role

SAI Motor Works Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team in Rutherford, NSW. As a full-time Motor Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. This is a key role within our Automotive Trades business, contributing to the overall success and growth of the company.

What you'll be doing

• Diagnosing and repairing faults in mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles
• Carrying out scheduled maintenance and servicing on vehicles
• Test driving vehicles to ensure repairs have been carried out to a high standard
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all work performed
• Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and procedures

What we're looking for

• Formal qualifications in Automotive Mechanics or a related field
• Minimum 5 years' hands-on experience as a Motor Mechanic in a similar role
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to quickly identify and repair vehicle issues
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Good communication skills to liaise with clients and team members
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• A current driver's licence and your own tools
