About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced motel management couple to take on the role of Motel Manager at the Country 2 Coast Motor Inn in Coffs Harbour, NSW. As a full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the motel's operations, from guest services and staff management to financial reporting and strategic decision-making.

What you'll be doing

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the motel, including reception, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest relations
• Ensure exceptional customer service and a high level of guest satisfaction
• Oversee staff scheduling, training, and performance management
• Manage the motel's financial operations, including budgeting, invoicing, and reporting
• Implement marketing strategies to attract new guests and maintain occupancy rates
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors to ensure the motel is well-maintained and compliant with regulations
• Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the business

What we're looking for

• Significant experience in motel or hotel management, preferably in a couple-managed environment
• Excellent customer service skills and a proven track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences
• Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team 
• Proficiency in using hospitality management software and systems
• A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing the highest standards of service
