About the role

Survey Group is seeking experienced Mine Surveyors to join our team in the Gold Fields, Western Australia. As a Mine Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate operation of our mining operations. What you'll be doing

• Conducting surveys and mapping of mining sites, pits, and other infrastructure
• Preparing detailed survey reports and technical drawings
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant mining and surveying regulations
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support mining projects
• Maintaining and calibrating surveying equipment
• Providing guidance and mentorship to junior members of the surveying team

What we're looking for

• A tertiary qualification in Mine Surveying, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Mine Surveyor in the mining industry
• Strong working knowledge of surveying techniques, equipment, and software
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Proficiency in the use of Surpac software 
• A valid driver's licence and the ability to work in a remote location
