Responsibilities and Duties:
- Fabricate and weld metal components of IAC Acoustics doors in accordance with our quality guidelines.
- Read and understand drawings, plans and manuals.
- Work with tools and machinery in order to perform your role.
- Some lifting and moving of materials.
- Follow established safe work procedures and instructions.
- Follow instructions offered by Senior Staff members.
- Produce IAC Acoustics doors in accordance with drawings or instructions supplied by Management.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised work environment.
- Report unsafe practices to Management, as soon as practically possible after they occur.
- Work in accordance with the IAC Acoustics Quality Assurance system and help to maintain a high quality standard.
Qualifications and Skills
- Trade level qualification (preferred)
Key Performance Indicators:
- Fabricate IAC doors within the allocated hours specified by quotations.
- Ensure the quality of IAC doors meets business expectations.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of drawings, plans, and manuals.
- Perform work tasks safely and efficiently.
About You:
We are seeking a candidate with prior experience in sheet metal. Experience with acoustic parts is highly regarded but not essential.
