Mechanical Service Technicians – Workshop & Adhoc service runs 

CEM Alliance is seeking skilled Service Technician's with a mechanical trade background to perform preventative maintenance & breakdown repairs on diesel generators, pumps and various power generation equipment. This role will be based in the client Malaga workshop with Ad-Hoc site visits as required (additional allowance paid for away work). This is a long-term opportunity offering competitive pay.

Overview of role:

• Service, maintenance, and repair of a diesel generators, bores, pump stations
• Inspection of equipment
• Work from the Perth workshop
• FIFO/DIDO to various sites throughout WA to complete scheduled service work as required
• Liaise with clients regarding requirements & progress of works
• Complete relevant paperwork
• Workshop hours Monday – Friday | 8 hours per day
• Hours for site works will vary depending on requirements (approx 11.5 hrs)
• Free parking at workshop
• Long term position with temp - perm options

Requirements & Skills

• Australian recognised Mechanical trade qualification (HV, LV, HD) 
• Aptitude and experience with mechanical fitting/engine maintenance
• Previous experience with diesel engines / diesel generators
• Exposure to Mechanical Testing
• Worked in the mining/resources sector
• WA C class license (minimum)
• Pass medical and drug screen
