We are recruiting for a number of workshops across Melbourne and the Eastern Suburbs. We are seeking talented Motor Mechanics to join a number of service teams.
Job Duties:
- Complete routine maintenance, including fluid changes, lubrication and tune-ups, to ensure vehicle performance and safe operation.
- Conduct roadworthiness inspections or outline repairs for compliance.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues.
- Test, adjust and repair mechanical components to ensure proper operation.
- Disassemble and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering systems, and other parts, then inspect components.
- Repair or replace worn or damaged parts, consulting service manuals as necessary.
- Reassemble and test engines and components after repairs.
- Use computer tools to assist in diagnosing and testing components.
- Completing all work as per manufacturer guidelines.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Understanding how vehicle engines, transmissions, electrical systems, braking systems and other vehicle components operate.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to quickly and accurately identify mechanical or electrical issues.
- Strong health and safety focus.
- Certificate III in Automotive or Higher.
- 2 years or more experience as a mechanic.
- Sponsorship may be considered for suitable applicants.
