Main duties and responsibilities are:

  • Conducting thorough inspections to identify mechanical issues using computers, diagnostic tools and test-drives. 
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as engine tune up, oil changes, brake repairs, and fluid checks, as well as fixing more complex mechanical problems.
  • Repairing, replacing or reassemble engines, transmissions, suspensions, steering and other key vehicle components.
  •  Replacing damaged or worn-out parts, such as tyres, batteries, and belts.
  • Testing repaired vehicles to ensure they function properly, including checking for proper alignment, brakes, and fluid levels.
  • Ensuring vehicles meet safety standards, pollution standards and regulations through proper maintenance and repairs.
  • Perform logbook services, issue road worthy slips and explain vehicle issues, repairs, and maintenance needs to customers in a clear and professional manner.
  • Maintaining detailed records of services performed, parts used, and vehicle history for future reference.
  • Regularly maintaining and calibrating tools and diagnostic equipment to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Staying current with new automotive technologies, repair techniques, and safety protocols.



We're Looking For:

  • A qualified Motor Mechanic with a Trade Certificate or equivalent.
  • A current Australian Driver's License.
  • Proven experience in vehicle service and maintenance.
  • Excellent diagnostic skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
  • at least 1 year of mechanic experience.
