The Material Logistics Officer (MLO) role supports the Rebuilds Execution team by managing parts procurement, creating work order parts upon Purchase Order, expediting approved goods, and handling stock items needed for rebuild tasks.
As the single point of contact for sourcing and completing offsite components (PEX, FlexiParts, and Reman), the MLO ensures efficient component turn-times, quality control for received and dispatched parts, and allocates parts to the end state work area. Their goal is to achieve WesTrac's productivity and compliance targets, including timely delivery of parts to the bay.
Location: Welshpool, WA
Roster: 5/2 10.5hrs
To be successful the following is required:
- Previous experience in a role with exposure to functions of sourcing, logistics, procurement, or wholistic supply chain management
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal), including consultation, negotiation and facilitation skills to effectively liaise with both internal and external stakeholders
- Advanced computer skills, with proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and SAP/Ariba
- Demonstrated attention to detail, ability to analyse problems and provide appropriate solutions
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and conflicting priorities to achieve tight deadlines
- Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously
- Valid high-risk licence with LF and C class driver's license
Desired however, not essential:
- HR Driver's license
- Diploma in logistics, procurement, or supply chain management
