We are seeking qualified Educators for various leadership positions at our Long Day Care Centre in Maroubra. We recently took over from another Provider and are very excited to recruit energetic and passionate leaders to support our team of Educators in implementing our high-quality educational programs. Our Centre is licensed for 120 children across 3 levels, with ample underground parking and access by public transport. We are very close to our Paisley Park Randwick Centre, which means an incredible opportunity for professional collaboration in the Eastern Suburbs.
We are open to applicants who are interested in working part-time or full-time. However, to assume a leadership role in our Centre, it is preferable that the applicant can work at least four days. We are generally flexible about working hours to accommodate busy schedules but require our Educators to vary their shifts from week to week to develop essential partnerships with our families and collaborate with our team.
Candidates must demonstrate leadership skills, which requires them to be good role models and commit to mentoring their team and implementing our approach to professional learning. Our leaders must also be positive, approachable, and enthusiastic, identify the strengths and needs of their members and collaborate with our Director to develop professional goals and strategies to grow their skills.
Our leader will also have a deep understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, the National Quality Standards, and Child Safe Standards and enthusiasm for implementing our approach to professional learning, which includes engaging in continuous reflective practice and continuous improvement. Our leader will also contribute to our Community Engagement Program to build relationships with key stakeholders. This is consistent with our philosophy, which values community partnership as critical to children's holistic learning.
