About the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Veterinarian to join their modern, all-inclusive clinic in a rural residential suburb southwest of Brisbane. The practice provides specialised, high-quality treatments and is looking for someone with strong surgical, medical, and leadership skills.

The clinic handles a high caseload of fascinating patients, including Brachycephalic breeds, complex medical cases, and reproduction. The facility is equipped with in-house pathology, x-ray, dental, ultrasound, endoscope, and more, allowing for comprehensive in-house care.

Leadership Responsibilities:
As the Lead Veterinarian, you will play a pivotal role in guiding, mentoring, and supporting a skilled team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Fostering a collaborative and positive work environment

  • Overseeing clinical operations and maintaining high standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or an equivalent degree recognised in Australia
  • Proven leadership abilities and experience in team management
  • Ability to build strong relationships with team members and clients
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
