We are looking for Cooks or Chefs from any cuisine

If you're an enthusiastic and passionate person with 3+ years of experience at busy restaurants, this job would be perfect for you. Knowledge of Japanese cuisine is desirable!

Summary of Position - Chef

Your responsibilities will include planning menus, preparing and cooking, overseeing the quality of dishes, controlling the stock and supplies, supervising and training of new staff, ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation practices. 

To be successful candidate you need to have:

  • Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery and Hospitality 
  • Excellent communication skill, English and Japanese language will be highly regarded!
  • Positive working attitude 
  • Good team players 
  • At least 3 years relevant experience 

Summary of Position - Cook

Prepare vegetables, soups and other hot food products as well as prepare and portion food products prior to cooking. Also perform other duties in the areas of food and final plate preparation including plating and garnishing of cooked items and preparing appropriate garnishes for all hot menu item plates.

To be successful candidate you need to have:

  • A positive attitude and work well with other team members
  • Able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised
  • Able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel
  • Be willing to follow direction and ask questions for clarification if needed
  • Able to work in a fast paced kitchen environment
  • At least 2 years relevant experience
