INVENTORY COORDINATOR
Mickala is a OEM of premium Lighting Towers for all industry types throughout Queensland and NSW. Our Head Office is located in Mackay Qld with a branch in NSW.
The Role:
As a progressive business, we are looking for an experienced Inventory Coordinator to join our team based at our Mackay head office. This position is a fixed term placement for 6 months.
We're on a mission to engage an Inventory Coordinator who sees their job as more than simply purchasing stock. The role is hands on therefore anticipated that you will roll up your sleeves and hit the ground running.
Within this role your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Purchasing and handling of local procurement
Quoting parts required for best supply deals
Handling of international parts on arrival and reorder quantities
Ensuring accurate stock holdings, handlings and receipting is maintained to the highest level
Ensure and maintain product location integrity
Investigate all discrepancies and issues with pre determined timeframes
Coordination of warehouse duties and assisting when required
Provide recommendations, support and solutions for best practice
The successful candidate should have:
Previous inventory coordination experience
Strong computer and inventory system literacy
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to be proactive and implement improvement
Ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team
Forklift ticket
Safety awareness
