Gateway Group is a locally owned company with workshops based in High Wycombe & Malaga. Operating since 2003, we have a high degree of experience in the chrome plating and engineering field. Specialising in Hydraulic Cylinder repairs for Mining, Civil, Earthmoving, Construction and Oil & Gas. 
 

About the role
An exciting career opportunity is now available for a Hydraulic Fitter to join our dynamic team, at our newly opened workshop in High Wycombe. 

The ideal candidate will have experience with disassembly, measurement and reassembly of hydraulic cylinders.  Previous experience in inspection and assessment as well as working on hydraulic cylinders for mining equipment would be advantageous.

Additionally, you will be required to maintain safe work practices and a safe work environment. 

An average working week is around 50 hours - Monday to Friday. Option of weekend work available

Skills and experience

• Mechanical Trade Qualification is a must
• A demonstrated commitment to safety with the ability to work unsupervised
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of Quality Control
• The ability to show initiative
• Valid Driver’s licence
• Be able to pass a medical including D&A
