Our Australian Made Products includes Sectional Doors, Thermal Insulated Doors, Roller Doors, Commercial Doors, Industrial Doors and we are highly experienced in bespoke engineered doors. Our Access Control Systems includes automatic Garage Door Openers, Remote Controls and Receivers, Smart APP Devices, Photo Electric Beams, Loop detection devices.
Our Manufacturing facilities includes state of the art Australian Made Machinery, Hydraulic Presses, Fully Automated production lines to name a few.
All of our Garage Doors are manufactured directly at our facilities in Dandenong South.
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist on a Full-Time Basis.
You will be working closely with Management and your key responsibilities will include:
- Onboarding and offboarding of employees here at our Head Office and Nationally as well.
- Hiring overseas staff for certain positions within the company. Knowledge of visa/sponsorship recruitment processes will be highly regarded.
- Updating and implementing new Policies, Procedures and Job Descriptions.
- Knowledge of payroll processes highly regarded as you will be overseeing the payroll on a fortnightly basis.
- Working with contractor agreements and ensuring that all licenses and insurances are valid.
- Complete management of work cover claims including providing proper advice to staff, management and insurance agency.
- Updating the company’s Induction Manual.
- Researching and organising for staff to undertake further studies to foster and encourage their development within the company.
- Highly knowledgeable with regards to Applicable Awards and NES.
- Performance management of staff.
- Ensuring that the company remains compliant with all government rules and regulations.
- Advisor to management on all HR matters.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Manufacturing/Construction background is required.
- A minimum of 5yrs experience working in a similar role.
- Working for a Family Owned and Operated Company will be highly regarded.
- Knowledge of immigration employment processes highly regarded.
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously and as part of our team.
- Ability to work well under pressure, tight deadlines, stay calm and always focused.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Time Management and Organisational skills.
