RM Surveys is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to support key HR operations, assist in employee development, and contribute to enhancing workplace culture. Working closely with the People & Culture General Manager, you will gain hands-on experience and mentorship while contributing to shaping and improving HR processes, employee experiences, and organisational growth in a professional and people-focused environment.

 

What You’ll Do

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Draft and publish job advertisements.
  • Screen resumes and assist in shortlisting candidates.
  • Coordinate interviews and liaise with applicants.
  • Manage onboarding, cross-boarding, and offboarding processes in Subscribe HR.
  • Conduct pre-employment checks and ensure compliance.
  • Assist in developing and updating position descriptions.
  • Work with the Administration team to collect employee data for NetSuite records.

HR Administration & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate HR records and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian employment laws and RM Surveys’ policies.
  • Assist with writing and delivering letters of offer and employment contracts.
  • Support visa, sponsorship, and relocation processes for interstate and international recruits.

Employee Development & Performance Management

  • Assist with probation reviews, career development reviews, and performance management processes.
  • Coordinate and assist with Traineeships and the RM Surveys Futures Program (survey student development).
  • Support department managers in implementing improvements from incident investigations.
  • Help implement and coordinate formal Management Reviews, ensuring objectives are met.

Culture & Engagement

  • Assist in the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives, including surveys and action plans.
  • Work with leadership to maintain and continually improve the company culture.
  • Support HR projects and process improvements to enhance the employee experience.

 

About You

Qualifications & Experience

  • A qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in an HR role is desired (HR support or coordinator-level).

Skills & Attributes

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, HR systems, and internal communication tools.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn.
