We are looking for a highly skilled leader to jump in to an already well established and successful venue and take it to the next level!

THE VENUE:

The venue has long been a town icon and there is never a dull day. The venue is experiencing a large influx of trade due to a stunning bistro renovation that has retained all the old world charm but with a modern twist. The venue is known for its buzzing vibe created by live entertainment, fantastic customer service and a relaxed yet sophisticated menu.

THE ROLE:

Head chef required to join a passionate, creative and energetic team of solid industry professional. Manage your team, ensure that your contagious energy and enthusiasm is translated in every member of the kitchen family! Work in collaboration with team and owners to take the venue to the standard that the beautiful newly designed venue deserves. The venue is known for it's classic pub-style menu using local produce - an eye and love for anything beef is a major plus!

YOU:

* Minimum 2-3 experience in a head chef role in a busy pub kitchen
* An unrivalled passion for the industry and drive to be in the know on current food trends
* A strong leadership background with passion for leading a team from the front
* Energetic and enthusiastic team player - Understand that having fun while working in the kitchen is important
* Creative flair is non-negotiable
* Strong knowledge and ability to maintain food safety standards
* Financial knowledge, stock control and rostering experience.
